More About Dr. V…
Dr. V is a skilled, strategic, energetic leader, change agent, and game changing facilitator; having a track record in leadership positions in electric and gas utilities, public transit, logistics, church, and non-profit arenas. Dr. V has also enjoyed impressive consulting and facilitation engagements with several agencies, churches, and foundations in the greater Phoenix area.
Dr. V is passionate about connecting individuals with the resources they need in order to be successful, and leveraging this success to drive business results. She supports this passion through providing strategic planning, employee development and appraisals, succession planning, and leadership development, coaching for individuals one on one, and organizations.
Resourcefulness and developing strategy are two of her key attributes. She is known in organizations in Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia for being a change agent and game changer. She has historically supported this passion in the community by serving as a guest facilitator or lecturer for ASU’s Career Pathways Program, Valle del sol’s Hispanic Leadership Institute, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and Valley Leadership. She has also facilitated board retreats and strategic planning processes for Chicanos por la Causa, Arizona Community Garden Association, East Valley Institute of Technology Foundation, Friendly House, and La Clinica. Dr. V has also fueled her passion for upskilling individuals and organizations through working with four local urban churches to facilitate strategic planning, financial modeling, leadership development, team building, and event planning.
Professionally, Dr. V served on the Center for Energy Workforce Development’s (CEWD) Sun Energy Corridor Get Into Energy Steering Committee that secured a $15 million grant for building a pipeline of hard to find talent for energy industry careers. With her successful track record, she was a featured conference speaker for the Western Energy Institute’s (WEI) Annual HR and Operations Conferences in Las Vegas, NV, Vancouver, British Columbia, Seattle, Washington, Washington, D.C., Portland, Oregon and Denver, Colorado. For her many contributions as an organizational leader and corporate contributor focused on rapid executive, individual, team and operations improvement; for her commitment to leadership development, diversity, and managing change, in 2011 Vivian (aka Squire) was awarded the Positively Powerful Corporate Woman of the Year Award by Triad West, Inc.
Vivian graduated from Western International University with a B.S. degree in Business Management and a minor in Human Resources and an M.B.A. degree with a specialization in management and marketing.
